Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 is a new server program that
is part of the 2007 Microsoft Office system. It offers a way for
users to collaborate no matter where they are located. This
one-level course will give end users and administrators the
fundamentals they need to start working with Microsoft Office
SharePoint Server 2007.
Highlights of the course include a discussion of using InfoPath
forms in a SharePoint workflow, administrative tasks, and
configuring RSS feeds.
Detailed Course Outline
Getting Started
To begin, participants will learn what
SharePoint Server is, how to navigate
and use a SharePoint site, the basics of
workspaces, how to manage documents on a
SharePoint site, and how to use folders.
Parts of your SharePoint Space
This section will focus on four
important aspects of a user's SharePoint
space: discussion boards, the workspace,
the Recycle Bin, and alerts.
Office 2007 and SharePoint
This section will focus on performing
basic collaboration tasks with Office
(including InfoPath). We will also look
at how to set up a SharePoint workflow
with an InfoPath form.
Creating and Managing Lists,
Libraries, and Views
Participants will learn all about
managing lists, subscribing to RSS
feeds, using library views, creating
lists, and creating libraries.
Working with the SharePoint Site
This final section focuses on
administrative tasks, including managing
user permissions, creating and managing
SharePoint pages, and basic site
administration tasks. |
